
29 Routes closed due to rise in water level of yamuna in capital Delhi now go from here to roam:
Rising water level in Yamuna halted train services from Lohapur at : pm on Tuesday, forcing trains to be cancelled. trains including Katihar Humsafar, Kathgodam Sampark Kranti, Haridwar Express and Shalimar Express had to be diverted. These trains used to run from Old Delhi Via Tilak Bridge instead of Shardara. Eight train journeys ended before their left the station before the scheduled time. Old Delhi Shamli Special will be telecast from Shahdar on Wednesday. Daily commuters had to deal with train cancellations and diversions.
After three years, the train service from Lohapur had to be stopped again. On August , we had to stop the train traffic from this bridge. Officials have said that if the Yamuna river rises to around 207 metres, trains will be suspended for security reasons. A team of railway officials is monitoring the situation. The train will start running when the water level is low.
