Parle was started in the year 1929 and the company first started producing biscuits under the name Parle-Cloco in 1938. Before independence, the name of Parle-G was Gluco Biscuit. but after 1980 it was given a new name.
It comes to biscuits then only one name comes first on the tongue and that is ‘Parle-G’. Children, old or young, almost everyone is aware of this name. But do you know what ‘G’ means after all in this name. Most people would say Genius which is not right. Actually it means something else.
