German coach Hansi Flick sent off Werder Bremen’s Niklas Fulkrug after trailing by a goal. Fulcrug did not disappoint at all and made the score 1-1 by scoring Musiala’s pass in the 83rd minute. After this both the teams could not score any goal and the match ended in a draw.
Canada out of the tournament
With this draw, the Spanish team remains at the top of Group-E, while Japan is second and Costa Rica third with three points each. While Germany occupies the last position with one point. On the other hand, Croatia defeated Canada 4-1 in the Group-F match on Sunday. With this victory, last time’s runner-up Croatia has come on top in Group-F. At the same time, the Canadian team is out of the tournament.
