The winning team does not get the real trophy
The Jules Rimet Trophy was awarded to the team that won the Football World Cup from 1930–1970, but the rules are different for the new trophy. No team can win the real trophy. Instead of the original trophy, the winning team is given a replica of the FIFA World Cup trophy i.e. gold plated bronze trophy that looks like the same.
