Electric two wheeler maker Ather Energy is planning to launch an updated version of its popular battery powered scooter 450x soon. If reports are to be believed, Ather Energy is currently working on the updated 2022 Ather 450x premium electric scooter and it will be launched in India soon. The updated Ather 450x is expected to be a face lifted version and many see mechanical and hardware upgrades along with some visual refreshes.
Ather 450x Electric scooter will get large battery: If media reports are to be believed, the Bengaluru based electric vehicle company has started production of its new Ather 450x electric scooter, which can get a bigger battery pack to increase performance. It is being told that a larger 3.66kwh lithium ion battery pack can be given in it which will have a capacity of 74Ah. plus, the battery will power the same 3 phase permanent magnet synchronous electric motor used in the current 450x model.
Ather 450x Electric scooter to get lng range: Equipped with a more powerful battery, the new Ather 450x is said to cover a range of around 146 km on a single charge. On the other hand, this is more than the 116 km range offered on the current model. At the same time, it is reported that the company has reportedly taken approval from ARAI certification to manufacture the new 450x electric scooter. A new 3.66kwh battery pack will power the upcoming Ather 450x and will be upgraded from the existing 2.6kwh unit. The modulation of peak power and torque will vary across the five riding modes, warp, sport, ride, eco and smart eco and will affect the range.
