New Year will be welcomed in North India amid severe cold, read – Meteorological Department’s forecast

People are troubled by the severe cold in North India.  However, there has been some respite from the cold in the country’s capital Delhi.  According to the Meteorological Department, the relief for the people of Delhi will not last long.  According to the Meteorological Department, the new year will be welcomed by severe cold.  The department said that a drop in temperature will be recorded on the first day of the new year.  Cold wave is expected to prevail in other states.

Friday was the hottest day in Delhi

Friday was the hottest day of December in the capital Delhi.  The minimum temperature was recorded at 10.8 degree Celsius on Friday.  It is highest in December, while the maximum temperature was 22.8 °C.  The minimum temperature on Saturday is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 21 degrees Celsius.  Dense fog has been predicted on Sunday on the occasion of New Year.  Along with this, cold wave is expected to continue from January 2 to January 5.

Yellow alert for lucknow

Dense fog is expected in UP’s capital Lucknow for the next few days.  The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Lucknow.


Uttarakhand in grip of cold wave

Entire Uttarakhand is in the grip of cold wave.  It is getting cold from the mountains to the plains.  In many areas, the temperature has been recorded around zero.  Due to snowfall in the hilly areas, a drop in temperature has been recorded. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold will increase further in the next two days.

Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir

There was heavy snowfall in Kashmir on Friday.  Seeing the snowfall, the faces of the tourists blossomed.  The tourists enjoyed the snowfall fiercely.  The Meteorological Department said that in the coming days the temperature could go to minus.
